PetroLocate has designed the next generation of Seismoelectric technology,
the PL14 Hydrocarbon Exploration System.
PetroLocate offers the patent pending PL14 Seismoelectric technology, which is used to detect mobile resistive liquids including oil, gas and fresh water to over 2000m when acceptable testing conditions are present eliminating the cost and time traditional exploration technology requires.
The PL14 technologies success originates from nearly 15 years of successful use of the seismoelectric technology used by AquaLocate for the purposes of groundwater exploration/location (aquifer depth, yield and thickness). www.AquaLocate.com The first of its kind originally designed in England by two former British Petroleum Exploration Geophysicists for groundwater exploration and quantification. Both Geophysicists have since retired and in 2014 PetroLocate Founder, Ervin M. Kraemer redesigned the original seismoelectric system to image deeper and with more clarity for oil exploration.
The PL14 exploration technologies ability varies greatly from traditional seismic technology in major ways, they include but are not limited to:
- The PL14 detects the actual resistive liquid (oil, natural gas and fresh water) where traditional seismic technology is limited to determining variations in geologic structure.
- System and/or Survey Investment: The PL14 and/or an exploration survey is affordable to small to mid-size oil companies and Landmen. You no longer need to be “Big Oil” to gain success in the oil exploration or production field or to locate an oil play.
- Unlike traditional exploration technology the PL14 does not require large parcels of cleared land in order to complete an exploration survey.
- A PL14 exploration survey is non-intrusive and quiet requiring only the noise of a 4X4 vehicle moving from site to site, a small generator and the sound of the hand held rotatory hammer for drilling the shot point hole and installing four three foot long copper clad electrodes into the ground.
- A final report of interpreted field data takes only a few days to a few weeks depending on the size and scope of the survey site. Note: All PetroLocate exploration surveys are monitored and approved by an appropriately licensed person, which varies from state to state.
- Unlike traditional exploration methods, it takes only one to two trained operators to complete an exploration survey. No geophones, thumper trucks or costly report compilation expenses are necessary.
- Unlike many traditional exploration systems, the PL14 does not require formal education and Ervin M. Kraemer of PetroLocate has successfully taught individuals from all walks of life how to effectively operate the PL14.
- The PL14 system is available worldwide for sale. Each unit sale includes training for two individuals and additional data interpretation assistance as requested by clients. Additionally PetroLocate offers exploration surveys worldwide. Call 800-251-3350 for more information.
Zone Porosity Model
PetroLocate uses environmental friendly practices to effectively locate hydrocarbons before a drilling program is implemented. It is no longer necessary to spend untold sums of money drilling test wells and causing unnecessary environmental impact before finding the oil and gas resources you are looking for. With the cost of exploration increasing every day, a PL14 Seismoelectric system is a reasonable investment for the risk avoidance it buys.
The founders of PetroLocate have been fortunate to help property owners and Seismoelectric equipment operators on 6 continents and in 17 countries (United States, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, India, Romania, Chile, Kenya, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Germany, Myanmar, Portugal and Ecuador). If you need input or advice on your next project, call 800-251-3350.
